Shipping Policy

If you have issues with an order you placed on this website, please either reply to your order confirmation email or reach out to us at support@getbarcart.com.

Orders

  • Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days after placing the order. Delivery time will vary depending on your location, the carrier used by the licensed retailer who processed your order, and external factors that impact shipments.

  • Once the order is in transit, it should arrive within 10 days -shipping times may vary depending on delivery location.

  • When the order is packed and ready to go, we’ll send you a shipping notification email with a tracking link. On delivery day, you’ll get text alerts for the driver’s progress. Someone 21+ must be present to accept the order. Deliveries generally happen during business hours so we strongly suggest you ship your order to a business address, if possible.

  • Please note that delivery to PO Box and APO/FPO addresses is not possible. Since we are unable to guarantee exact delivery dates, we do not accept liability for costs associated with shipping to temporary locations (hotels, holiday homes, etc.) in case of failed deliveries.

Returns

  • Please note, we cannot process sales or returns for spirits.

Cancellations

  • Please email support@getbarcart.com right away! Be aware if your order has already been confirmed by a retailer, Barcart cannot guarantee they will be able to cancel your order.

Delivery

  • Please be aware it is every customer's responsibility to ensure that someone 21+ is home to sign for the package. Typically, a carrier will attempt delivery 3 times before returning the package to the sender.
  • If the package is returned to the sender please, email support@getbarcart.com. Be aware that there may be additional fees to help offset the costs of retailers accepting returned packages or reshipping orders.

  • We currently ship to the following states: AZ, CA, FL, KY, MD, NE, NV, NH, ND, OR, PA, VA, WA, and DC. More coming soon.

All purchases of alcohol made on this website are managed by an independent technology provider, Barcart, and processed & fulfilled by licensed alcohol retailers across the country.

Happenstance is not a licensed beverage alcohol retailer and is not involved with the sale or delivery of alcohol products. Please review the FAQs and Barcart’s terms for more information about orders placed on this website.

Merchandise:

Orders

  • Orders will ship out within 5 - 7 business days, regardless of shipping method 
  • During peak season (September - December) shipping may experience additional delays 

Returns

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order for a full refund within ten (10) days from the date of delivery and under the following conditions: 

  • Returned items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, and in perfect condition
  • After 10 days, items are not eligible for return 
  • If you request a refund, the purchase price will be refunded to you via the original payment method once we’ve received the item and confirmed it meets the above conditions. Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to be processed. 
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping label
